Basic protective measures against the new coronavirus

Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak, available on the WHO website and through your national and local public health authority. Most people who become infected experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others. Take care of your health and protect others by doing the following:

Wash your hands frequently
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.

Maintain social distancing
Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.

Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

Practice respiratory hygiene
Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.

Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.

If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.

Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.

When to use a mask

If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection.
Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing.
Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
If you wear a mask, then you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly.
When and how to wear medical masks to protect against coronavirus

Before putting on a mask, clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
Cover mouth and nose with mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp and do not re-use single-use masks.

To remove the mask: remove it from behind (do not touch the front of mask); discard immediately in a closed bin; clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

Protection measures for persons who are in or have recently visited (past 14 days) areas where COVID-19 is spreading
Follow the guidance outlined above.

Stay at home if you begin to feel unwell, even with mild symptoms such as headache and slight runny nose, until you recover. Why? Avoiding contact with others and visits to medical facilities will allow these facilities to operate more effectively and help protect you and others from possible COVID-19 and other viruses.

If you develop fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical advice promptly as this may be due to a respiratory infection or other serious condition. Call in advance and tell your provider of any recent travel or contact with travelers. Why? Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also help to prevent possible spread of COVID-19 and other viruses.

S13 Ep 14 : Grey's Anatomy [NEW]

WATCH Back Where You Belong Now

Alex returns to the hospital and discovers a lot has changed since he left. Meanwhile, Jo has to make a difficult decision on a case, and Arizona tries to distance herself from Eliza

April is all about power and if you throw her a bone she will go fetch it. I think that this episode shows that Eliza coming in isnt helping any. Also that little boy didn't have to die and in my opinion she killed him. If I were the boy's parents then I would sue the hospital and get rid of her for good. This episode really opened my eyes about how weak and fragile the residents are, they can't handle surgery all by themselves because they freak out and then the attending has to step in.

epner is an opportunist! She's the one who said will support Webber no matter what. She should be reminded that she was fired before, and webber took her back. And when she acted "bad ass", she just being a bully. She now has the power, and she used it like she's entitled to it. Be careful Kepner, you'll give the power back to Grey soon. After all, she did worked for it. She's the one who deserves it.

I really hate this plot, how everyone is against one another! But I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I do think that some of Minnicks teaching method is right. I think the residents do need more practical learning. When Meredith, Alex and all the other original characters were residents I swear they had more learning opportunities than these current residents. Just look at how much good Cristina got out of doing Burke's surgeries when he had a bad hand. Now I'm not saying that they should do it that extreme, but I do agree that the residents need to learn better, because the way it was, it seemed that most of the attendings were being sort of stingy with their surgeries. But anyway that's just my opinion!

I really hope Ellen Pompeo doesn't leave, it kinda does seem like it though :/I think this episode showed the point that the Attendings were trying to make. You don't need to radically change the system to fix it. The experienced surgeons have good judgment, maybe a little overly cautious but in life or death situations, I would prefer my doctor err on the side of caution.

"Loved to see how Webber helped Edwards even not being his job anymore, that should make the Residents aware of how good of a teacher he really is and how Eliza wouldn't (and didn't) do the same. Miss Meredith and Alex." And yes, Eliza is obnoxious and acting like a know it all which is turning off all the attending Dr's. She has not humility, well, maybe she will now! Robbins was amazing today...And Webber saved the day!

Eliza is really obnoxious, if she wasn't so full of her self maybe the Attendings wouldn't even dislike her so much. I love April but she was being an opportunist, she should've known better and support the cause she said she believed, and not change her mund just because it better suited her career, that's when we see the real character of a person. Bailey shouldn't make so hard for Ben, she keeps putting him in the middle ofher shit instead of supporting him by knowing how hard must be for him already. Loved to see how Webber helped Edwards even not being his job anymore, that should make the Residents aware of how good of a teacher he really is and how Eliza wouldn't (and didn't) do the same. Miss Meredith and Alex.

Wouldn't be surprised if Pacquaio knocks Vargas out within the distance. Manny has too many advantages, aside from the size, height, reach and age disadvantage. He has the speed and the power, the footwork & boxing IQ Vargas will never have at that level. There are levels in boxing and Pacquaio will take him to school. Vargas wants to come forward? He'll get knocked out cold. If he goes defensive? He will lose a UD..Team Pacquiao!!! I'd like to see it go the distance but I say Pacquiao will stop Vargas near the 7-8 rounds...

You have to market targeting the whole world when your trying to sell shit. News flash you will pay manny more money than your make. Biggest waste of time is watching pacman spar Tim Bradley's left overs.

It's sad to see Manny still fighting at his old age really should retire because Vargas is young strong and will knock him out Manny stay on politics let us Latinos do the fighting we were born toAfter the fight VARGAS will say, He's too fast I didn't see the punches coming!!! Now I know what those other BOXERS were saying! I need tequila shots I'm in PAIN!!

Statistics are funny that way. When he won his 140-lb title, wasn't Danny Garcia the real WBA titlist, thus making Vargas's title secondary?
Then why doesn't TR count his loss for the secondary WBO 147-lb title against Bradley?Your time is now , manny thinks he picked a cherry of a champion . Lmao watch Vargas time pacman perfectly

The caption says it all...."nothing will". This is a bad matchup, just like Rios was, and Margarito was. A slow punching Mexican fighter with no defense, there to be hit like a punching bag because he is flat footed. Top Rank knows how to hustle boxing fans that's for sure. All of these promotional videos probably have some fans believing this might actually be a competitive fight...it won't be.This is gonna be a good fight all the people saying it's gonna suck doesn't know anything about boxing. Obviously pacquiao is the favorite to win the fight but pacquiao always usually is. Vargas is a world champion and Pacquiao's fights against a Mexican opponent is always action packed. This has more entertainment value than a Crawford fight.

They don't call him pacman for nothing. He will eat this kid alive. Sorry one and done vargas. Manny is to Dame fast..And u are not marquez. Seen to many Manny fights to know what's gonna happen to vargas. Tune up.Danny Garcia turned down the fight because he didn't think 6 Million was enough. Smh! Fuck Garcia.
Crawford would be good but BoB Arum promotes both fighters so it's too much of a risk. -If Pacquiao would win Crawford's future takes a hit, marketing wise. So that's a no go
